Director Tova Mozard
Well renowned artist Tova Mozard holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy, Sweden and has also studied photography at University of California, Los Angeles. She has produced numerous solo exhibitions featuring both stillphotography and film. Her film ”The Big Scene” (2012) was nominated for The Guldbagge Award in the documentary film category. Her latest short film "Psychic" (2019) was also nominated for the Guldbagge award.
Tova on making "COPS ARE ACTORS":
"I wanted to deconstruct and explore the police officer we know from the movies, like stripping a schablon, to see where the schablon meets the human being and how the human being uses different roles, exercising the profession.”
